The bus was supplied by Mercedes-Benz of Weston-super-Mare and converted by Courtside Conversions Ltd of Tiverton. A great deal of research was done to ensure that the very best vehicle with first rate aids for the elderly, the visually handicapped and disabled passengers were incorporated into the vehicle. Even with the generous help from Mercedes-Benz of Weston-super-Mare and being zero rated for VAT purposes, some £49,000 has been spent on the vehicle. Much fund raising was done locally. We receive the support of Congresbury Parish Council who contribute towards revenue costs. Community Action at Long Ashton provide both financial and valuable consultancy support. Holders of Congresbury have always generously supported the Mini Bus idea within the village and surrounding area by providing garaging, valeting and administrative support.
